Due to the overwhelmingly positive response we have received regarding our existing and forthcoming programs at the Anime Art Museum, our needs for our new facility have changed. In addition to a museum gallery, we are now pursuing promising additions to our facility that will further promote the learning of every expression of anime art culture. These additions include a library of books from academic studies of anime to art books and manga (publishing our artists’ stories), fully equipped movie theater dedicated to anime film, new studio spaces (for illustrators, crafters, cosplayers, animators, and gamers), and a Ramen Café serving authentic Japanese ramen to the best of our abilities. We will also be seeking to display Mobile Suit Gundams (at 1/6 scale – 10 feet and up) to celebrate one of the most popular genres of anime (mecha). At present, we are seeking a location to house everything needed and our anticipated opening date will be in summer of 2017, if not sooner. Read more about our exciting developments, here!

Unfortunately, our Gainesville location has closed while we transition to our new facility. In the mean time, our classes and workshops are still in session! Read more about our classes here!
